I help businesses get found, get chosen and convert. That covers three things that are usually sold separately and are really one problem: whether AI search engines recommend you, whether Google ranks you, and whether the people who do arrive actually do anything.

Most of the market treats those as three budgets and three agencies. They are three symptoms of the same thing, which is how legible and how persuasive your business is to whoever, or whatever, is doing the looking.

Why me

I built SearchScore, which audits websites across more than 250 signals in three disciplines: AI search visibility, SEO, and conversion. That means I am not theorising about what earns a recommendation. I look at the measurements, at scale, across entire industries.

When I benchmarked 9,487 UK law firms, the ones with JavaScript-built sites were 76 times less likely to be visible. Across 2,307 care homes, a CQC Outstanding rating barely moved AI visibility at all. I publish that work openly at research, including the parts that are inconvenient.

I also build and run businesses, which is why I am uninterested in work that produces a nice report and no change in outcome.

What I do

AI search visibility and GEO

Whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Google’s AI answers can find you, understand you, trust you and quote you. This is the newest of the three and the one almost nobody is measuring, which is exactly why it is the cheapest advantage available right now.

SEO

The traditional discipline, still doing most of the heavy lifting for most businesses. Technical foundations, information architecture, content that answers a real query, and the authority to be believed. Roughly half of this work serves AI search too, and I will tell you which half.

Conversion rate optimisation

Getting found is worth nothing if the page does not convert. Most sites I look at have a traffic problem they can see and a conversion problem they cannot. Positioning, proof, friction, the actual path to an enquiry.

Business optimisation

Sometimes the constraint is not the website at all. It is the offer, the pricing, the follow-up, or the fact that nobody owns the number. I have built and run companies, so I am comfortable saying when the marketing is not your problem.

How that usually starts

An audit across all three disciplines

Where you actually stand on AI search, SEO and conversion, what is holding each one back, and a prioritised list of what to fix in what order. Not a sixty-page PDF. The handful of things that move the number, with the reasoning shown so your team can act without me.

Implementation, or oversight of it

Most of the work is not difficult, it is specific: answer-first structure, entity and schema architecture, technical fixes, credibility signals, conversion paths, and the measurement to prove it moved. I can do it, or direct your team doing it.

Advisory

For founders and marketing leads who need to make decisions and want someone who has looked at the data rather than the discourse. Usually a standing monthly call with access in between.

Speaking and workshops

How AI systems decide what to recommend, and what it means for how businesses get found. Best with an audience that wants evidence rather than predictions.

Where I work

I am British, based in London, and I work with clients internationally. Nothing about this work is geographic in the way local SEO used to be: the engines behave the same whether your customers are in Shoreditch or Singapore, and most of my clients sell across borders.

That said, plenty of the work is close to home. I work with businesses across London and the Midlands, including Birmingham, and a fair amount of it starts the same way: a firm discovers a competitor is being named by ChatGPT and they are not, and nobody can tell them why. If you are looking for someone in the UK to hire for AI search visibility, SEO or conversion work, that is what I do, and an in-person session is straightforward if you are in either city.

Who this is not for

If you want someone to publish forty articles a month, I am the wrong person and I will say so. Volume is rarely the constraint. If your site cannot be read, understood or trusted, more of it does not help.

I am also not a full-service agency. If you need paid media, brand design and a content team, you need an agency, and there are good ones.

Start here

The fastest way to begin is to run the free audit. It scores all three disciplines and takes about a minute, and you will know within one screen whether there is anything worth talking about.

If there is, or if you would rather just talk, get in touch. Tell me the site and what you are trying to achieve, and I will tell you honestly whether I can help.

Background

Serial founder. I have built and shipped products across SaaS, AI tooling and blockchain, and I write about AI search, SEO and conversion at the GEO guide and in the research. More at about Ronnie Huss.

If you would rather start on your own, the method is in my book, Get Recommended by AI.
